Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:

Our only activity was the induction of new members dinner. We enjoyed a pasta bar and were treated to on talk on proving theorems with technology.
Do you have any news about current students or recent graduates? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences. :
Member Stephanie Elliot was accepted to the graduate program in computer science at Northern Illinois Umnversity. Outgoing President Robert Assise has accepted a teaching position at Homewood-Flossmor High School.
