No.

Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:

1:

Pi Mu Epsilon Lecture Series: There were two speakers in the the Pi Mu Epsilon Lecture Series this year -- both were students speaking on their summer projects. The first talk was given by Anita Doherty on November 4. Her title was ``Playing with Fire: My Summer REU Experience." She prepared a power-point presentation to explain her results. Cathy Purtell, who worked at NASA, made a presentation on February 19, 2003, entitled ``Programming for the Stars: My Summer at NASA." She also used a power-point presentation including some of her programming results.

2:

Pi Mu Epsilon organized the department's annual open house. This year it was held on October 1, 2002, in Science 105. The speaker was Peter Turbek from Purdue Calumet. His title was ``How to Catch a Lion in the Desert: A Tour of Advanced Mathematics."
