Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:
1:
Induction was held in the Fall at the Christmas Banquet, a joint event with the Euclidean Mathematics Club. The Banquet was attended by 35 people. Dr. Renee Fister spoke about the use of optimal control in biological problems.
2:
The Spring Meeting featured Dr. Tan Zhang, who spoke about the extensions of the Pythagorean theorem to manifolds.
