No.

Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:

1:

Professor Rich Schwartz gave a talk and demonstration of the Robinson tiles, a classical example of a non-periodic tiling.

2:

Carolyn Gordon, from Dartmouth, came down and gave a lecture about isospectral planar domains.

Do you have any news about current students or recent graduates? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences. :

John Armstrong, one of the PME enthusiasts who revived the chapter 4 years ago, is a math graduate student at Yale. Amir Caspi, another former PME member, is a graduate student at Berkeley. Shawn Lawton, a former PME member, is a graduate student at the University of Maryland. Sarah Kitchen, a current PME member, has been accepted into a semester-abroad mathematics program in Hungary
