Dr William Gutsch, former chairman of the American Museum Hayden Planetarium and Forecast Meteorologist and Science Editor for WABC-TV, NY, NY presented a talk on "Journeys to the Red Planet and the Lord of the Rings".
2:
Dr. B. Melvin Kiernan, Professor of Mathematics at St. Peter's College gave a presentation on "The History of the Mathematics Department at St. Peter's College". Dr. Kiernan is retiring.
