Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:

Our only big event was the induction ceremony. A 1997 PME graduate gave the talk "The Nature of Fractals," which was well-received by both the mathematicians and non-mathematicians in the audience.
Do you have any news about current students or recent graduates? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences. :
We've been fortunate for the past several years to have our mathematical talks at the Induction Ceremony given by alumni of Nazareth College who were inducted into PME. Many of our graduates teach in local schools in the area and this is a nice opportunity for them to give a talk (and for current students and other recent graduates to stay in touch).
