Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:
1:
The February meeting was for the officers of the local chapter to plan the details of the induction ceremony, which was held on March 3, 2003. The Chapter inducted 20 new students, the two new additions to the Mathematics and Computer Science Dept. faculty at Skidmore College and the guest speaker as well, bringing the Chapter membership to a total of 87. The guest speaker was Daniel Velleman of Amhesrt College, who delivered a lecture entitled 'Simpson Symmetrized and Surpassed'.
