Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:
1:
A student, Fabrizio Polo, presented a paper of original research at the Youngstown State University Pi Mu Epsilon Conference. He solved Euler's Genoan Lottery Problem.
2:
At our annual initiation banquet in November, 2002, we heard a fine address by Dr. Michael J. J. Barry of the Mathematics Department on the value of acquiring the habit of doing mathematical research.
