Do any of your chapter members plan to attend or present a paper at the PME national meeting at MathFest in Boulder, Colorado?

Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:

Summer Session 2002 (May 15-August 15)
The secretary Joesph Dethrow and I went to MathFest 2002 to present papers. Joe presented for the MAA and I presented for PME.
 
Fall Session 2002 (August 16-December 15)
We hold monthly meetings, in which students and professors come and have refreshments while the President runs a meeting to discuss upcoming events and fundraisers. There are also some Math Contest questions given at each monthly meeting. The winner of the contest is announced at the next monthly meeting. We also have monthly talks given by professors and graduates students that we call "Math Chats." The speaker chooses a topic that he/she has been researching/studying to share with the members. Our Fall fundraiser was selling T-shirts. We annually design a T-shirt and have them made at a local T-shirt manufacturer.
 
Spring Session 2003 (January 16-May 15)
Once again we held monthly meetings with the Math Contests. We also held the "Math Chats." One of our Spring fundraisers was selling used books that the professors had donated to the club. We also held Pi Day, at which we sold pizza, pie, and soda. Lastly, we held the annual induction for new PME members. We inducted 11 people this year. At the last monthly meeting, we elected officers for next school year.
