Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:
1:
Our Pi Mu Epsilon induction banquet is the highlight of the department's year.
2:
During Math Awareness month, the student plan several different activities such as an ice cream social, problem solving contest, and a large geometric construction (this year it was an enormous spiral).
Do you have any news about current students or recent graduates? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences. :
Our students are very active in presenting papers at conferences.
