Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:

We held a Mathematics Contest and had an induction ceremony. Thank you for the matching grant that we received. The money was used for prizes for the contest.

Do you have any news about current students or recent graduates? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences. :

One of our former members, Parmy Singh Cobb, graduated with her Ph.D. in mathematcis from Baylor University this past Fall under the direction of Dr. Johnny Henderson. Parmy was our Chapter president in 97-98.
