Do any of your chapter members plan to attend or present a paper at the PME national meeting at MathFest in Providence, Rhode Island?

No.

Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:

1: At our annual induction ceremony, Professor Ivor Grattan-Guinness of Middlesex University, England, gave a fascinating talk entitled "History and Heritage in the Development of the Calculus".

2: In Novemeber 2003, Professor Rice took a party of 15 students to Washington DC to see a production of the award-winning play "Proof".

Do you have any news about current students or recent graduates? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences. :

After graduation, Michael Dempsey will begin work at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, VA.

Jayhoon Jung has been accepted to the doctoral program in physics at SUNY Stony Brook.

Jonathan Perkins has been accepted into the master's program at George Mason University.
