Do any of your chapter members plan to attend or present a paper at the PME national meeting at MathFest in Albuquerque, New Mexico?

No.

Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:

We held a mathematics competition which was open to all students. The test was not content specific so anyone who had completed precalculus could take the exam. We had 8 students participate. Thank you very much to Pi Mu Epsilon for funding a matching grant. We used the money for prizes for the competition.

Do you have any news about current students or recent graduates? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences. :

Last year's presidnt, Ankur Goel, received the award for the top Outstanding Student in the College of Arts and Sciences at VSU for 2005. One of our new inductees, Sterlin Sanders, was a member of the 2004-2005 VSU football team which won the NCAA Division II National Football championship.
