Do any of your chapter members plan to attend or present a paper at the PME national meeting at MathFest in Albuquerque, New Mexico?

Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:

1. Three of our members presented at the local PME conference. Their talk was entitled, "Wacky Models of Sub-Theories of Number Theory." The presenters were Tiffanie Heit, Vicki Reuter, and Erin Roberts, who had been working on some undergraduate research with Dr. Steve Leonhardi, a logician here at WSU.

2. The PME members increased their efforts this year at creating social connections amongst not only PME members, but all related majors and faculty. They were real movers and shakers in this regard, sponsoring many get togethers, from math-related talks to volleyball games to picnics.
