Do any of your chapter members plan to attend or present a paper at the PME national meeting at MathFest in Albuquerque, New Mexico?

No.

Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:

We did have five students attend MathFest 2004 in Providence, Rhode Island. One (William Neris) gave a talk in the Pi Mu Epsilon sessions and another (Jacob McMillen) gave a talk in the MAA student sessions.

For the past several years, we have held the induction of new members of Pi Mu Epsilon as part of our annual departmental honors reception.  This was always a very nice occasion, but this year we decided to "kick it up a notch" and have an awards dinner.  The dinner was a tremendous success, with over 80 people attending.  Of the 24 new members of New York Pi, 21 attended the dinner.
