Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:

Student Pi Mu Epsilon members hold tutoring hours in the departmental student lounge.

A "career night" presentation occurred as the after-dinner program during the Pi Mu Epsilon initiation banquet.

Do any of your chapter members plan to attend or present a paper at the PME national meeting at MathFest in Knoxville, Tennessee?

Not this year.

Do you have any news about current students or recent graduates? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences. :

Two alumni are in graduate school at UCLA, one at U Texas Austin.
