Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:

Interesting activities this year: : I, the advisor, am the only surviving member. Most of the other members have died. Others have left, and fallen out of touch. The undergraduates here at this time seem to have little interest in extracurricular activities, and the few with talent are busy with homework, work and families. The MAA chapter has also fallen into disrepair; most of the meaningful mathematical activities are carried out by mathematics graduate students. For example, two students attended the last sectional MAA meeting, both of them graduate students.
