Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:

On the business side, we established the Pi Mu Epsilon problem of the month, created our bylaws, and received recognition from our student government as an official club on campus.

In the fall, we had a two part activity that involved a pre-screening of the movie "Proof" and a viewing of the pilot of "Numb3rs." We then had a discussion about how mathematicians and scientists are portrayed in popular media.

We established our Pi Day activities of Pizza, Pi, and Puzzles. We had a night of enjoying pizza and sudoku puzzles.

Do any of your chapter members plan to attend or present a paper at the PME national meeting at MathFest in Knoxville, Tennessee?

No.

Do you have any news about current students or recent graduates? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences. :

No.
