Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:

Members of our chapter participated in the Louisiana-Mississippi MAA student team math competition and also in the MAA LA-MS Section's annual integration bee.

Do any of your chapter members plan to attend or present a paper at the PME national meeting at MathFest in Knoxville, Tennessee?

No.

Do you have any news about current students or recent graduates? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences. :

One of our charter members (Christina Giurintano) is in med school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and was elected this year as treasurer of her class.

Another of our charter memebers (Delilah Whittington) is graduating this year and has been accepted into the University of Texas at Dallas for their Physics Ph.D. program.
