Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:

Meetings were held jointly with the ECU Math Club.Activities included visiting speakers from AmericanFidelity in Oklahoma City, Tulsa University GraduateSchool, and University of Oklahoma Graduate School.

Students also participated in the Texas-OklahomaResearch Undergraduate Symposium in Durant OK.

"Fun" activities included Math Jeopardy and an on-goingproblem-solving competition headed by an organizationin Oklahoma City.

Do any of your chapter members plan to attend or present a paper at the PME national meeting at MathFest in Knoxville, Tennessee?

Our newest inductee is considering attending.

Do you have any news about current students or recent graduates? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences. :

Our newest inductee presented research at the OklahomaAcademy of Science Technical Meeting in November 2005.She will be beginning a new research project thissummer under the guidance of the PME Advisor.
