Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:

During last year's MAA Texas Section meeting, there was a "first annual" Calculus Bowl for undergraduate students, state-wide. We entered a group of four students: Caleb Grisham, Tanya Chase, Sarah Muehlenbein, and Holly Stovall. Our team received third place medals and were in a close race for second place until the very end. We are SOOO proud of our students. Congratulations!!!

Do any of your chapter members plan to attend or present a paper at the PME national meeting at MathFest in Knoxville, Tennessee?

Do you have any news about current students or recent graduates? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences. :

We have several scholarship recipients who are members of PME. Congratulations! Also, several of our students are attending this year's MAA Texas Section and will again compete in the Calculus Bowl.
