Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:

1) Department Open House -- We had a guest speaker Prof James Dudziak who spoke on Archimedean Solids and then enjoyed dinner with faculty and students.

2) A visiting faculty member Fozia Qazi gave a lecture "Back to the Future--Time Travels of the Decimal Number System." This was preceded by a pizza dinner.

Do any of your chapter members plan to attend or present a paper at the PME national meeting at MathFest in San Jose, California?
