Advisor and Officers

Advisor: Margaret Canzonier

Officers: Because most of our majors are doing their ninety-hour observations and student teaching semesters senior year, we are not operating the chapter as a club and have not opted to have elected officers.

Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:

1) Our induction ceremony on April 1, 2007, was attended by fifty five people and held in the Mansion at Georgian Court University. Dr. Bonnie Gold of Monmouth University spoke about creating a career in mathematics and contributing one's talents for the benefit of society. Eleven new members were inducted.

2)Members of Pi Mu Epsilon and our GCU Math Club taught four sixth grade math classes at one of the Lakewood public schools to celebrate Pi Day.

Do any of your chapter members plan to attend or present a paper at the PME national meeting at MathFest in San Jose, California?
