Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:

1)This year's annual dinner and induction ceremony was held on April 24th at the Dobbs Ferry Campus. It was nice to meet some of the spouses, brothers and sisters, and parents of our new inductees. Both Mercy College's Provost and Dean for Undergraduate Studies attended this year and addressed the group.

2)At a meeting of mathematics and computer majors two students gave presentations. John Mills, a mathematics student and Pi Mu Epsilon member, spoke about Blaise Pascal. And a computer student Frantz Sainte gave a talk titled "The Visual Truth in the Digital Age."

Do any of your chapter members plan to attend or present a paper at the PME national meeting at MathFest in San Jose, California?
