Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:

1) On Friday, May 4, 2007, the Villanova Chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon held its annual event to officially induct new members of the chapter. The induction began at 9:30 am with refreshments and a brief induction ceremony including presentation of membership certificates. This was followed by our annual Pi Mu Epsilon address. This year's address, presented by Dr. Rachel Hall of St. Joseph's University and entitled Asymmetric Rhythms and Tiling Canons, was thoroughly enjoyable and well-received by the audience of twenty students and fifteen members of the faculty.

Do any of your chapter members plan to attend or present a paper at the PME national meeting at MathFest in San Jose, California?

No.

Do you have any news about current students or recent graduates? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences. :

No.
