Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:

1) The induction ceremony featured a very interesting lecture by Prof. Curtis Greene of Haverford College. He spoke on some of his favorite sequences.

2) Many of the students prepared interesting posters for Math Awareness Day.

Do any of your chapter members plan to attend or present a paper at the PME national meeting at MathFest in San Jose, California?

One may attend but is not yet sure.

Do you have any news about current students or recent graduates? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences. :

Three graduating members (Brittany Fasy, Julia Fox, and Brian O'Neill) will be going on to graduate school, Fox in math and Fasy and O'Neill in computer science. One student (Jiaming Chen) won a prize in last summer's problem solving contest at Mathfest.
