Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:

PME students participated in the first ever American Cancer Society's Relay For Life held at Midwestern State University. PME students attended the Fifth Annual TORUS (Texas Oklahoma Regional Undergraduate Symosium). PME students and math club students hosted the first Real World Math Symposium (held at Midwestern State University) talk given by MSU alumnus, Dan Stone.

Do any of your chapter members plan to attend or present a paper at the 2009 PME national meeting at MathFest in Portland, Oregon?

Do you have any news about current students or recent graduates, for example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences?

oseph Gilbert accepted to graduate school at Texas Tech University. Austin Howard accepted to graduate school at University of Texas at Dallas. Jacob Staples accepted to graduate school at University of Central Florida.
