Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter activities this year:
There was the Pi Day(March 14) celebration of 2010. Many students who have interest in Mathematics came and joined the mathematics department, and shared various kinds of pie. In the eigen talk of October 30, 2009, many people came and joined to watch a video about Fermat's Last Theorem produced by John Lynch and Simon Singh.
Do you have any news about current students or recent graduates, for example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences?
Philippe LaGue, one of the graduates last May, was accepted to one of Law schools for Fall 2010, and Libby Megna, a graduate student, won the Gold Water scholarship.
