Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter mathematical activities this year:
The 2012 Pi Mu Epsilon induction ceremony where our provost was the induction speaker. There will be 11 new members inducted this fall semester.
Do any of your chapter members plan to attend or present a paper at the 2012 PME national meeting at MathFest in Madison, Wisconsin?
A total of seven students attended the 2012 MathFest in Madison WI.
Do you have any news about current students or recent graduates? For example, scholarships or other awards, acceptances to graduate school, paper presentations at conferences.
A total of seven students attended the 2012 MathFest in Madison WI. Four students gave presentations, one student had a job interview with the National Security Agency, and another student has started plans to found a branch of the National Association of Women in Mathematics here on our campus.
