| Describe the two most interesting or unusual chapter mathematical activities this year: |
| Our chapter sponsored 2 colloquiums featuring both faculty speakers (one talk focused on how to use a slide rule, and another featured continued fractions) and student speakers (students spoke about the summer REU experiences). We also hosted some friendly competitions, including a trivia contest and a Ken-Ken contest. |

| Four of our PME members are headed to graduate school in mathematics or statistics: Maria Gommel, Tyler Schroeder, Christopher Halverson, and Steven Mackey. Maria Gommel and Tyler Schroeder presented their research at NCUR (LaCrosse, WI) and at North Central's own Rall Symposium for Undergraduate Research. |
